Fridays never the same again, how true.
We are just lovers of the game, not fighters.

2nd Ubin Trip (Camp)

The 7 swords went,
the 7 swords returned (all white and itchy)

Anyway, pictures shall do the blogging.

Hum ji cat!

Front view facing our tent
Take note that pictures are taken using flash.

Charmur Chalet
The place has no light at all.

Mode of transportation around the island

Those who pitched the tent, they did in near total darkness if without the help of the torches.
Salute to you people, first time yet you guys did such an efficient job!

Fire starters; no fire = no dinner
Hahaha!

The one who chopped the woods that wasnt that flammable.
Then he sat down there preparing his dinner. Lol!

More wood!

Can you spot something lurking in the top left corner of this picture?

Other picture was a craze. Smoke spikes coming out of his back.

Dinner time for the few who helped others start fire for their mesh tins

Process of cooking instant noodles
A pretty insane way if you were to ask me.
For first timers like me, you have to admit that it is really slow watching your noodles cook.

Going for more!

Main torch

How the place looks like actually . . .
Total darkness.

Campsite was scattered with light sticks all around, nice.

Those who couldnt make it through the night . . .

Another one.
Hahaha, Xiaogua and I took the only shift of keeping the look out while they slept.

Leaving the place . . . . .

Sun rise

Sun above us

After that, slight breakfast at the center of ubin, followed by a crazy dash on Ubin's latest bike trails. Damn nice if you had a better bike.

Dragging our feet home, it had never felt better to be back in Singapore (heavy backpacks, dirty, itchy, tired, hungry)

Thats all for Ubin people!
Lets wait til we have SLRs before we go back Ubin again for some picture taking or feeding mosquitoes!
Take care and good day!
